A playlist is a list of songs that are curated and arranged by a user or third party on a music streaming platform, such as Spotify. Users can create and add songs to their own playlist or follow playlists created by others to play music in a sequence. Playlists can contain songs with the same theme, a specific music genre, or a special event.

What are its uses?

There are several uses of playlists on music streaming platforms like Spotify, including:

1. Organizing songs: Playlists help to organize and store the selected songs, making it easy to find and play again.
2. Sharing music: Users can share their playlists with friends or the public to introduce new music and share experiences.
3. Theme and mood: Playlists can be created based on a specific theme or mood, such as workout, relaxation, or special event, making the music experience more personal and meaningful.
4. Discovering new music: Users can follow playlists created by third parties or friends to discover new music that aligns with their interests.
5. Consistency: Playlists ensure that the music played is in sequence and controlled, making the music experience more structured and predictable.
